I have been working in the Early Years sector for 8 years and have experience working across all age groups. I hold my Level 3 Extended Diploma in the Children and Young people’s Workforce and often undertake extra training to keep my knowledge relevant and up to date.
I am a very bubbly and outgoing person who loves a dance and sing-a-long! Craziness aside, my kind and loving nature is a huge asset in allowing children to settle and feel safe with me. I am very passionate about emotion coaching and supporting children with their emotional development; teaching them to understand and self-regulate their feelings and emotions.
I love to incorporate Makaton into my everyday practice. In addition to aiding children’s speech and language development, I find it helps to create a more inclusive atmosphere and one where all children can be heard and understood.
In addition to the love, I have for supporting our little superstars, I also love to support staff with their professional journeys. I enjoy working closely with our staff team to offer support and guidance, lead training courses and continue to raise the quality of outstanding care, interactions and practice that the Bright Minds family is already so well known for!
